I don't think we played a good prem side, I think we played a prem DINOSAUR. If we'd played our normal game and held on to the ball we'd have embarrassed them.

You need to wake up, that is absolute bolloxs.
Stoke were fitter, faster, stonger,more alert and tactically aware than us and in a different league.
Yes, the way we play is superb against teams from our division, and probably most the championship teams.
But Stoke were intercepting so many of our passes because they had players that could read what we were going do and anticipate it,
and they closed us down with speed and numbers whenever they wanted too.
I admit we didnt play our strongest side, but I feel yesterday will convince Gus more than ever that we need to spend good money to improve the team
and I would expect him to be knocking on TB's door tomorrow morning for serious money.
