Glad I stuck with that because it turned out he was good value and very eloquent. Yeah the bluds and fams were overused but to keep up that monologue for that long with a peppering of good jokes. Impressive.

I was up in Birmingham over the weekend when the match was on. My girlfriend and I were having something to eat and I tentatively checked the score - 1-0!!!!!! Hugo Lloris subbed for the cock-up? Nope - injured. By the time we finished it was 2-0! GET IN THERE! Quite a few people were interested in the match by this time and its significance and said? "D'yu 'ate Spurs, buddy?" "No, Brighton fan" Most were Aston Villa or Wolves fans. Had some nice conversations and they believed Graham Potter will turn out to be a brilliant manager in the Premier League. We watched the second half in a sports bar and it was a thing of beauty (the match as well!) I was on a high for the rest of the weekend.

Feel shattered now though. Went to Birmingham v Middlesbrough on Friday night. Very dramatic at the end. The Brighton game looked like the best we've played for about four years. Absolutely phenomenal! :)

Do we have someone like that? I don't mean that guy in America who sings songs, but a fan who pays attention to the games and records their own rants to post online, or who interviews fellow fans. It seems like so many clubs do. Just wondering if we need to apologise for one of our own...

Found one.

Hmmm ......... played on Youtube there's a link to another similar one. Just like sort of listening to NSC instead of reading it - can't see the point really. Very limited vocabulary too - don't they teach kids words like blud and fam in Brighton schools or what?
