This contribution on football 365 takes some beating. What others have you seen or heard this morning? Laughable stuff really, some people are getting angry in the Outer Hebrides about this today.....what do they care (or know)?

Bulldoze The Clubs...
Simple solution on how to solve the issue of West Ham and Millwall's behaviour last night. Bulldoze their stadiums and kick both teams out of the Football League. What do either club do for football except produce abusive, small-minded supporters who continue to tarnish our game with their chip on shoulder mentality. Hooliganism will never leave the game while clubs like this continue to survive.....

SSN reporter Gary Cotterall outside Upton Park this morning showing a range of items from the 'riot' - two bricks, part of a plant pot, a small tree that had been torn up, some police tape from the scene. That channel really is a joke.

Not quite sure what the Old Firm have got to do with a tear-up in East London, but hey, lets drag them into it for good measure anyways.
Well done Peter

Even back in the playground I thought the kids who had fights were childish morons who needed to grow up.

So...no.

I have to say, having seen some (but obviously not all) footage of both inside and outside the stadium that there was very little violence. Sure a few bottles and bricks were thrown but 99% of it was just fat wankers shouting. Some of the harder ones 'jostled' the police ("Hold me back! Hold me back!") but most of it was handbags. The stabbing obviously falls into the 1% of actual violence but as far as fighting was concerned it was nothing like the 'old days'.

The G8 hippy and crustie protesters could have creamed both sides last night, no problem.

That would be my point of view also. Several hundred West Ham bald salad dodging plumpoids in the corner all pushing and jostling but not daring to go beyond the corden - made up of students in hi-glo jackets and the 15 old-bill.

Cotterill is a Hammer. ALL the action on TV was West Ham kicking off, inside and outside of Upton Park. Cotterill only reports on about ten ripped up seats by Millwall in the Trevor Brooking end. I think Millwall are getting a raw deal here. I'm sure any seats previously sat in by those fatty Hammers who invaded the pitch are in shit state too
