Solly?

Dunk?

Sanchez?

Real bargains :)

This. More and more of our players are home grown and come through the Academy, and being a club that doesn't spend massive amounts on new signings, (by today's standards anyway), l'd say we have got value out of the vast majority of our current squad.

Apart from the homegrown, former academy players, weren't Welbeck and Lallana on free's?

Gross.

Lamptey would seem an obvious bet to take over at some point, but i suspect he will be sold before he gets anywhere near the amount of games Gross has played for us.

My initial reaction was Gross. What a fantastic player he’s been for the past 4 years.

But the profit we could make on Tariq...that’s a lot of wonga.

That profit will cover Jahankbasher and Locadia

Gross definitely. POTS and a major part of our first season survival, and he's continued to be a regular starter and key player in the subsequent 3 seasons.

Our very first signing as a PL team and completed before Hudds had even won the 2017 play-off final, if I remember correctly

Voted Gross for his overall contribution but if it is for just this season then Veltman would get my vote. The quality of play for the price we paid is fantastic.

I think Gross also gets additional credit for transitioning into a versatile Graham Potter type player.

In the summer a lot of us here expected Gross to be on the outs. But he survived the cull of the Hughton squad and reinvented himself in a way, ditto Solly.

I voted Lamptey, but could have easily have voted Gross or Veltman. I like BDB as a player too, but I expect that even he would admit that he’s not as influential as the others.

Lamptey - as his potential is amazing IMO.
Veltman - 900k, OMG, what a f*ckng steal.
Gross - been a great creator for us. Imagine what he’d be like with that extra bit of pace.

Groß, Lamptey and Veltman look like absolute steals and the rise of Sanchez has saved the club £20m + on a new keeper of the same standard

Would also add in Moder who is already looking like a steal at £5-6m

The recent pieces of incredible business are making it much easier to put the millions we wasted on flops like Ali J and Locadia to the back of my mind

Pascal Gross for £3 million is today's equivalent of giving Stanstead a grand and a set of tracksuits for OGH.

If Pascal had pace to add to his many other attributes, l doubt very much he would ever have come to the Albion, far more likely that Liverpool, or one of the Manchester heavyweights would have taken him straight from Ingolstadt.

Lucky for us that he is more of a tortoise than a hare.

Gross is also responsible for 99.9% of the Cryuff turns ever executed by a Brighton player since the club was founded, which is a record that will likely stand for all time.

Not since the days of Nathan Jones doing comedy stepovers in the Withdean puddles has any Albion player so owned a move.
