I don't remember that 2002-04 one at all. That was just after I finished university and was starting my past life in London, so I wasn't really following the club as closely as usual. But I'm still a bit spooked that I don't remember it whatsoever. Voted for it though because I think the silhouette thing is cool. 77-80 and 00-11 also strong contenders for me, I was expecting to vote for one of those.

Edit: Also, what did we have between 2004 and 2011?

From an old bastard, my view is obviously tainted by nostalgia.

So it this the current one, all day long, for me. Cool, clean crisp and elegant.

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Any heraldic badge for me. Most badges were of that type years ago, but very few left now. Fulham is a great example of how to go from a beautiful one to a complete mess.

Pre my time, but I’ve always loved the look of the 1958 badge. I picture vast crowds and Adrian Thorne. The badge is classy.
Absolutely. Gets my vote. If it was changed back I would quietly hide from the binfest in joyous contentment.

I’ve just realised our seagull changed direction on our current badge.

For some reason I’m outraged. 😂

It has however, seemingly coincided with a change of direction and luck.

Naturally the 70s badge gets my vote.

I’m sure Ritchie Blackmore would vote the same way.

Blimey, I thought Archer's 'Shield' badge was the worst ever, but the one from 68-69 is truly appalling. I've managed to completely blank it from my memory.

Like with the kit (blue 'Arsenal' style) my favourite is the badge from the time when I first went to the Goldstone, but I voted for the current one. I do NOT want some marketing bod to come along and think about changing it and using this poll as 'proof' that Albion fans would like to see a new one.

(And yes I know it wasn't really Archer who compounded losing the Goldstone by dumping the badge, but I prefer not to acknowledge the truth).

It was a conscious decision - to represent the club 'looking forwards, rather than back'.

Well I must have been unconscious when that decision was made public, as I’d completely missed it 😂

I think we’re due a change, I’d like to see the seagull flying vertically on an upward trajectory - showing our aspiration to climb higher to a lofty perch.

Okay, maybe an upward slant would look better?

I’m going to email PB and Tony, they’re sitting round twiddling thumbs anyway… waiting for Micky Adams to fax back his terms for his very own part III - The Return of the King indeed.

It was a plain seagull, like the Hollister logo. We didn't get sued by them, fortunately. Below is an away kit from 2003-04.
