Ooh, are we going to be told the back story of Batman again? Great, I've never seen that in a film before.

No. It's a 'year 2' story. Matt Reeves has said he's not interested in doing another origin story. It'll be early in Batman's career, and we'll see recognisable villains but early in their development into said villains.
