Another one with a frozen condensate pipe.

Brand new boiler, but they ran a long horizontal waste to a drainpipe. Ended up cutting it off at the bottom of the vertical bit. Glorious heat.

Heating packed in over-night.

Obvious mass fan heater panic - all the shops have sold out [emoji38]ol:

Found some in Wandsworth B&Q a couple of trains away. They had a pile ready ("those will be gone by this afternoon mate")

Randomly a bloke in the car park (who saw heaters) told me to run a kettle and pour water over the joint where the condenser leaves the house.

Looking at the live radar is depressing, you can see that massive wave of snow creeping ever closer to the south west coasts , will probably miss us by just 60 miles or so[emoji34]

The forecasts, days ahead, got this spot on with the SW and Wales getting a huge dump of snow. The aspiration of us Sussex snow lovers was for this system to end up 200 miles to the east, but it wasn't to be.
