Very odd weather here oop North. It's been snowing steadily all morning and it's bloody freezing out but it's not settling at all. Looking out to the Peak District from my office window it's a different story there though.

Latest flumping has now passed over here in Uckfield. Gutters on the road are now completely covered. Will be interesting to see what happens to it all now it's brightened up a bit outside. Still no direct sunlight, but the cloud has thinned enough to see exactly where the sun is currently.

Radar's showing more to come from the NE later today, so expect any minimal melt to get topped up when that arrives.

My dad's just driven from Ringmer to Wivesfield Green with no problems
