Agree with US. Im in West Worthing, snow is more wet than dry and is more like rain now. But it seems to be changing all the time though.

It's sleeting in Peacehaven and seems to be melting a bit. Ice is causing havoc on the roads though, and the coast road is currently closed at Rottingdean.

Pretty bad, well bad enough for everyone to be panic buying and preparing to be stranded indoors for days on end !

I thnk I got his one pretty much spot on despite being called a mug even though was I was saying was true. As usually happens when we get a front from the South it means a rapid rise in temperatures here. It is now 3C 37 F with a rapid thaw and the BBC this morning said it would be -1C 30F max with up to 4 inches of snow. As I predicted this latest cold snap has been a damp squib.
