I wish this weather would shit or get off the pot. The snoods and winter coats are still in deep storage being as its not COLD, its just....meh. Yet a pullover isn't quite enough for my evening podcast stroll.

Absolute gubbins.

Agreed. I long for frosty mornings and clear skies.

I mowed the lawn this afternoon. Suspect it won’t be the last mow of the year. Did it early December last year.

FFS it’s November and I can’t recall seeing a single “KILLER ARTIC BLAST” or “SNOWMAGEDDON” headline yet, even in the Express.

We used to be a country.

There definitely was one in the Express. I’m sure it won’t be difficult to find!

Britain is set to be hit by an Arctic blast that will bring plummeting temperatures, snowfall, and severe cold conditions across the nation.

I like this Twitter account. Tends to be nice and realistic. He is starting to have concerns about next week.

Yeah, but we're right on the western edge of that northerly flow, so I reckon chilly, rather than properly cold, so sleet rather than snow except over high(er) ground.

Miserable, cold rain, as usual.

Over on Netweather the geeks are getting terribly excited - but then they always do, only to be let down at the last minute
