I was about to come on here and say the same myself. The wind seems to be shifting to a NE direction, which is why we're seeing a lot of heavy snow in The Heath, and would imagine other parts will see similar too.

Coming in at an Easterly direction, then turing more Northerly when when on land which is why the snow appears to be shifting Southwards.

I've not checked them to be fair. I would imagine that if the heavier snow reaches us we'd see those falling .. evaporative cooling and all that.

Latest (11am) radar image shows some snow approaching Brighton etc from the NE. Anyone seeing anything?

also, the whole thing is shifting south, as Croydon was at the southern edge of the snow, but I can see upwind that it may be near the northern edge soon.

Based on their locations, I would hazard a guess that off the immediate coast, the temp in Worthing is 1.1 and dew point is -3.5

The heavy stuff is moving further South! Looks like it's as far South as Crawley, which backs up Danny's comment.

For what its worth my current temperatures are showing as 0.8c, DP is -0.6.

Will it, or won't it. Croydon is still heavy settling snow. If this moves south I'm going home soon.
