How many inches do you need to get excited?

Well isn't that the eternal question.

I'll just say "several".

What about East Sussex (bit too generic? How about Eastbourne/Polegate? I'm back to work there Wednesday morning).

East Sussex will see some more snow. How much? Not sure.

You won't be too excited here at the moment, just looked out and merely a dusting. Sorry!

Just just back from driving to Gatwick. Slippery roads covered in snow. Skidded and jumped a red light accidentally . Thankfully it was 4am and nobody around.

Totally covered here in Chailey. Still snowing now with 4-5cm on ground.

Firle quite disappointing. 3/4cm tops most from yesterday evening.
Some quite impressive snow potential building to the east currently though.
Mid sussex and Kent must of had a bit of a pasting though last night. Showers seemed to fizzle out though before getting far west

2.5 Cm on West Worthing, not hit the roads yet, Mrs V's Brighton bound train on schedule abd school seems open as central Brighton probably only had a dusting?

Doesn’t look like we had any more of. note from when I went to bed.

Off to wake the boy up so we can try the sledge anyway.

Snowing again in Plumpton. A Sparrow just flew down to the ground and completely disappeared under the snow. It would appear mid Sussex has taken quite a hit.

Well, this thread has already achieved something - I've moved my forecasting site of choice from the BBC to Netweather which has been much more accurate. Currently showing 95% certainty of heavier snow this afternoon in Portslade, got to be happy with that.

No more than 2-3cm in Findon. Probably not great sledging.
