The long range forcast from 276hrs (GFS) which is a hell of along way off has biting easterlies setting in papa that'll put the cat amongst the pigeons SHOULD it happen ?

276 hours? You're probably better off trying to predict the weather in 2076!!

Seems like snow heading south tonight, but when it gets to the south coast it turns to rain/sleet looking at the BBC weather forecast.

Turned to mush with the rain and has all but gone. Good.

Even the met office has taken to sticking two fingers up at this thread...the snow 'warnings' for Monday & Tuesday have a 1,000 mile snow forecast graphic with Sussex missing out on both sides bang in the middle of the giant 'n' for no!

As this is page 606 of this thread I think Papa should now be doing a phone in where we can phone up and moan about the poor performance of the snow etc.

Had 30 mins of heavy snow at work in Leatherhead yesterday from 4:15pm. It settled... but it was only snowing for 30 mins

Not the fellas, generally an odd looking bunch from what I remember, odd voices a speciality.

I had always thought the presenter had paid their dues with their degrees and meteorology experience, although I accept you could train up anyone to present it.
