The outlook for many places in Northern (esp NW) England and the Midlands is grim... lots and lot of snow.

My Facebook has been peppered with Scally friends showing off about all the snow. It looked like they'd had a few inches this morning and I believe they may have had more since.

Blizzard conditions when i left for work in Worksop at 5am today, although what settled has now gone in preparation for the expected heavy snow fall tonight. Think i might have a slow journey to work tomorrow morning

It seems to over play the snow risk tomorrow. We're right on the southern limit of the snow, and if we do see any it will alternate with rain at times.

I have just had an email saying my parcel has just been dispatched for next day delivery. That ain coming then. It's just left Scotland

The latest output had Saturday damp and chilly down here (4-5c), and Sunday colder (2-3c) with a biting easterly wind, with perhaps some snow. The moderate snow had dropped from the Sunday forecast.

After that it's cold out to Thursday with some snow forecast at times, but nothing significant. However, in a strong easterly snow can appear at quite short notice

Thanks Papa. Should be ok then. Looking forward to that biting easterly wind pushing me along the seafront Sunday morning.

No snow for the Brighton, Lewes, Eastbourne, Hasting areas, in the next week according to the Met / BBC.

Just driving rain. Far too mild down here, and by the time it gets colder no precipitation.
