It's still lobbing it down it there. I've not read the last couple of pages, but the roads out of Worthing are pretty much all closed now. Amazing, especially as we're in March!

The A24 was queuing back to Ashington I ended up going on the Steyning Road and back on the A27 which was mostly deserted.

From Gatwick to Worthing and didn't see a gritter until Terringes Avenue

Flumping in Eastbourne, some drifts over a foot deep too in places. Barely any roads are clear too, the A259 at Exceat has a very deep drift you would expect in places like Alaska - picture below !! Snow was also getting into Eastbourne station, causing some minor flooding - the gateline there is covered in snow !!

Id say not to bother travelling anywhere on Tuesday, trains will be badly affected and roads will be bad as well.

A259 -

Was there actually any further snow during the night in Brighton? There appears have to been nothing more added other than drifting snow.

Hardly snowing at all in Hove now. Doesn't look too deep outside.

Just got to work in Portslade from Sompting, the seafront road was not too bad if you take care. If it carries on snowing the way it is at the moment, I don't think it will be long before I head back home.

It's not the people who find it hard to drive in these conditions that worry me. It's the ones who think that they are the best, they drive to close and when the car gets stuck in front they have no where to go, and that's what blocks roads, and that's what causes chaos. If every driver gave the car in front plenty of room. When things go wrong they can help push it to the side and then get past.
