They are finally mentioning possible snow on the BBC now. The office rang out with "You were right Mejona!".

I was smug, but I know the job's not quite complete yet. I still need the clouds to do their thing.

Looks to me from my untrained eye that the GFS is hardening on a bit more snow than expected for Worthing at least on Monday night/Tuesday morning.

Forecast for Bolton please Papa?

No change really - expect a band of rain to snow early Sunday afternoon, then a high risk of snow showers from then until Tuesday. The wind will be strong and the air unstable and very cold - could see hail / snow. AS per usual the further NE you are (near the North Sea) the better your chances of seeing lots.

After Tuesday is still a little unsure.

Hi Papa

Can you comment on the chances of us seeing any white stuff up north on Saturday? Wooly hat, gloves and thermals needed? Thanks.

Worthing
heavy rain mate, no snow till next week (hope this is not a michael fish moment)

hhmm... I'd say there's an outside chance that with the cold air digging in further North on Saturday you might see some snow at some point (perhaps on the journey home).

I bloody love snow, but I did feel like an git this morning. Whole cycling past the park and banks of daffs and crocuses starting to bloom and felt fed up that they might all be killed off. I'm ready for spring now

The uncertainty at this stage is whether we get the front moving up from the south to introduce that snow (and it will be ALL snow). As seen the GFS has this heading up the M4 corridor before sliding South East. ECM only has it coming into the Chanel and no further North. The UKM slightly North but still not as heavy! Tonights runs will be fascinating!
