I can't tell you for definite, but we do seem to be moving into a less intense section (according to the radar) but it's still hammering down here.

Hi Papa, have you got a latest radar picture for us to look at please?

All dried up here. Left with a frozen half inch/inch in places.

Bollocks, I thought it was the North that got all the snow! We've been forecast it all week/next few days.

Anyone better at providing forecasts than Metcheck/bbc able to tell me if Sheffield will get more snow?

Snow getting a bit finer again in Henfield, but still coming down pretty hard. Still no sign of us being allowed to go home :(

One thing to keep an eye, on is the movement of the snow band.

As the annotated picture below is trying to show, the band will pivot with the eastern end moving a little further North East, whilst the Western end will start to move South.

There will also be a general movement Southwards.

The upshot is, that although at some point the intensity will drop off, we will see the whole system move back over us as it moves South.

'At some point' - any thoughts on if it will be today, tomorrow or even next week? I do have a couple of days work in Kent Tuesday and Wednesday but they are looking increasingly unlikely.

Also is 'Double Bubble' the Technical Term for this? :lolol:

Eastbourne town centre barely has anything and very light snow, yet it's flumping it down in Willingdon !!

Wish our snow was like what Southampton have, it's not fair !!!!

Disturbingly seems to be turning a little wetter and a little lighter in Worthing but garden has a healthy flump feel to it.
