Proper snow in central London now, still quite small flakes, but copious amounts! It's settling too.

I'm now FULLY in control of our roads grit box key!

The responsibility is crushing me.

Charge your neighbours to use it. £10 a shovel should cover it.

The heavier stuff should be in Brighton within the next 15 minutes.

There should be some sort of support structure in place for times like this, 2 bottles is cutting it fine, you may have to ration.
i may have to brave the conditions and re-stock.

I'm just going outside; I may be away some time.

Brighton's best and most up-to-date weather site (apart from NSC, obviously) is now reporting this:-

Serious Disruptions

Service 46 not operating via North Southwick or Rotherfield Crescent due to road conditions.

At the moment all bus routes are running normally and there is no disruption due to the snow, although we have had reports of some worsening road conditions in Hangleton and Moulsecoomb.

Since I posted the picture, it's got a bit whiter - wish it would flump it down.

That said, I need to catch a bus into town in an hour, will probably start then

Conspicuous lumps now, my side road is clagging up quite quickly....

If Hitler's Lufftwaffe could have been converted to drop snow instead of bombs they would have never lost the war.

North Southwick - isn't that where Uncle Spielberg lives?!?!

It can't be snowing there... he promised us it would be rain or sleet... OMG - he won't be prepared for this. He'll be wandering around in flip flop and a t-shirt and shorts.. should be send out a rescue party while we still can??
