Probably less than an inch currently in Southampton, but still snowing a noticeable amount.

Says light snow again for Eastbourne, but where I am (a few miles away near Polegate) it says heavy snow - is it really that fine ?

The temperature had dropped from 1.6 to 1.0c in half an hour. Combine that with low dew points it should settle everywhere

Ok, it's just i had heard that in Wales the grit was washed away by early rain, that why snow was laying so deep.

After all you are nearly welsh down there!

I will walk to Polegate then. Put the kettle and fry up on I'll be there in about 45 mins. I will bring the sledge's :thumbsup:
