Looking like a giant non-event now - been raining all morning and now nothing is forecasted tomorrow. Some for Monday morning which turns to sleet. Then it's the odd flurry.

Looks like it might be warming up :(

If its snowing in Crowborough that shows that the colder air is already digging in from the East. The temp has dropped half a degree to 5.7c here in the last 45 mins, so were past the warmest part of the day.

The stadium is at about 80m above sea level (and the upper west must be a lot higher), so there a chance the rain may turn before the match ends.

Based upon what? Everyone on here has been saying that the chances today are low, tonight a bit better, but more risk of ice than much snow. Monday into Tuesday is where the action looks like being, and it may only be the first of a string of sliding low pressure systems that will bring snow to many.

if that's right we are going to get about a foot of snow!

A non event. Much milder today than predicted. 9C 48F here with heavy rain and they said it would be 2C 36F. 3C mi tonight so no chance of snow, more rain and now no snow for tomorrow. Maybe a bit of sleet on Monday and then back to 10C 50F by the end of next week. Get the Daily Express today for a laugh.

Metcheck just updates itself probably to reflect the new forecast but theres a lot more snow in it which looks like it will last until next weekend too, looking like it could snow for Birmingham too - where it wont get above freezing. Does St Andrews have undersoil heating ?

No, 2 years ago maybe. Just reporting the situation as it is.

That's it, we're f***ed.

Everybody stock up on shovels, and start panic buying at the supermarket for the next Ice Age is now upon us.

I do hope you're right Uncle, but based on your previous years predictions I fully expect us to get about 2 foot of snow now.

Say goodbye to your loved ones too, we'll all be under 20ft of snow by the end of the week.
