Really heavy in Eastbourne now. If you are planning to drive don't. Watching some comical driving on the hill on A2270 Willingdon Road / Upperton Road where the Brighton buses are flying up it whilst the cars are struggling. Not sure how there hasn't been a crash yet. Where are the gritters?

No point in gritting snow

Having not followed Snow '10 that closely to date, mainly because there's been next to none here can someone fill me in please...

Has Brighton and Worthing had any of note yet over the last week or so?

All footprints and evidence of serious sledging activity on the hill in front of our house now fully filled in by the heavy heavy snowfall. Impossible to guess of course, but I'd reckon on waking up to a good 6-8 inches of the lovely white stuff on the ground here in Hastings by the hills and sea tomorrow :yahoo:

We got the crumbs from Croydon's table yesterday... A few cms of snow overnight, but tonight might see a good old dumping of the stuff.

West Worthing, heavy snow, but very small flakes if that makes any sense. Bizarre. The size of that snowfront on rain radar though is bloody exciting.

A dusting for both overnight and this morning, about an inch at best. But heavier snow coming down now. You need to move back to lapland Worthing!!!
