It seems there are about 4,000 who will go whatever. Then, in order to get attendances up, we're relying on either a big away following, or significant numbers of kids being in the family stand. As it's Tranmere, and on a Tuesday night before school, neither of these things will happen tomorrow. I think it could be the lowest crowd of the season.

It's half term in this neck of the woods, it's not in sussex then presumably ?

I shall be there and I hope that many more will be instead of using the lame excuse that is being trotted out everytime' it is too expensive for the standard of football'.

That is a price we have to pay for coming back to Brighton, which most people wanted and one of the reasons DK was supported.

It is now up to supporters to show their support for both the team and DK by attending. I know that with 5 home games coming up it will stretch most people pockets and they will pick and choose the games that they will attend but I would have thought that Tranmere, who are near the top of the table, would be one of those most would choose.

8 million and 3.

Plus a half-eaten pie thrown away in disgust for the want of a fork.

And a small pink pussy cat from Barrow-in-Furness named Gerald.

I don't always agree with you but in this case I do 100%!

Since when has a ticket price had anything to do with the quality of football on offer? If it did then there are plenty of games over 40 years when they should have paid me for turning up!

It is a business and they must charge what they feel appropriate to keep the business viable and attract enough paying customers. I wouldn't like to be involved in making that decision!

The customer has the choice to buy or not. For me the standard of the ground (it's awful but it's better than nothing) and of the football are irrelevant - I just want to see my team play - but as I said everyone has a choice.

to be honest I would be surprised if we (Tranmere) took more than 200 to the game tonight, its a long way to go for a Tuesday night fixture, however we do have quite a few exiles around and we have improved of late which may boost numbers

The question is where have all out 'fans' gone?

Is a valid question but I seem to remember reading in the Argus that we are only an average of 92 home fans a game down on last season.

Whilst the club do need to do everything possible to attract more home fans, a major fact is that the away end is regularly deserted and therefore OUR club is losing valuable home revenue. As I've said before it would be worth the club doing an analysis of visiting supporter numbers and to consider some initiatives to attract them to Withers.

It would be better to have 500 at a tenner than 100 at 22 quid!!

As for tonight 5,032
