Continuing on from my form so far…

Awful batting, not scoring quickly enough… 90 off 16 overs? Pathetic.

I see a collapse coming soon, Lyon and co are about to tear through this batting line up like a fat man tears into a multipack of Krispy Kremes

'cos they are scoring at 5 an over and the aussie bowlers don't look threatening at all on this pitch at the moment

There is that.

I suppose if Aus had got 328 I could get my head around it.

Drinks sounds like a good idea.

This is looking worryingly competent. It won't last.

Sunny and not overcast, time to make hay.

Tomorrow looks a little less so, and with a new ball it might be a little more tricky out there
That's the big advantage of England's fast scoring - the new ball comes at about 400 not 250

I know it’s how England approach it but it really annoys me when people run past a spinner, it is just an ego thing?

The ball isn’t spinning really, why run down the wicket especially if you’re only going to prod at the ball

Crawley averages 27 in test cricket yet still gets picked
I get bazball, but I'm not sure Crawley does. He is coasting at a run a ball and then comes charging down the pitch. Is it good enough to get 0-40ish runs at a run a ball but never consolidate on a great start, especially when you're chasing 400?
I just don't get it.
