Wonderful rant by KP about being friendly with the opposition- until he is reminded of being too friendly with South Africa...

Premature ejaculation is a bitch, but it just goes to show there’s always a way.

I still don't see any point in hanging the ball a yard outside off stump to Smith.
Surely you've a better chance of actually getting him out if you bowl at off stump and set the field for him to get across and hit you to the legside?

Amazing how many times the Aussies have just whiffed at the ball and it’s found the gap today :lolol: Let’s hope England can score equally luckily and quickly.

Definitely a very good batting wicket, but Lords always is, England have let them selves down today with very poor bowling.

I think they’ve played and missed about 8 times, and inside edged passes the stumps at least 4 times.

Is there a reason why we chose to field?

Australia 500+ England try to get it in 100 overs and all out for 150?
Ashes series over.

England just look like they don’t really have a clue, everyone knows Head hates the short ball early, they bowled one short ball before he got to 40…

Innovative fields are pointless when you aren’t taking into account your opponents weaknesses, bowl it short and load up the leg side field, see if he scores so quickly then… even if he did he’d have probably got out eventually hooking.
