Indeed. And as I mentioned in an earlier post - the new mindset is about taking calculated gambles. They have seemed to come off more often than they don't - and make for much more exciting cricket. So, none of us can complain, especially in hindsight, when they don't quite work out as hoped.

And with this weather change - there's a good chance our seamers could benefit today now as well.

Im not against the approach in general , but the chances of us taking wickets were a long shot in those conditions. It was gambling for gambling‘s sake, and I wonder if Stoke is underestimating the aussies.
If they play as they can they will punish us. we will need every run we can get.
And FWIW I said that to friends at the time.
