The one person now guaranteed a job is Clare. Brady said in her summing up to Sugar, "If you don't give her a job, I will".

Now that's been broadcast on TV, she'll have to offer her something.

Everyone lies on their CV's to a certain extent.
I honestly don't - I can't see the point and frankly, I've not had to. But if I found out that anyone I wanted to hire had, they'd be out the door. Trust is important.

So if a dodgy Arthur Daleyesque granny seller with a chip on his shoulder about being fick is the best they can do, well, that's not great. But you're right about Clare - I have to switch over when she comes on. Everything about her makes me want to vomit like the little girl in the Exorcist, whom she slightly resembles a fat grown-up version of.

I felt that leaving 4 left for the final was a complete cop-out done only to make sure that the final is slightly different to previous years.

In fact he could have fired 4 of them...

Helene - Dull, a worker not an apprentice
Alex - does this guy have anything to him at all. And he reacted so badly during the interviews.
Lee - proved to be a blatant liar (it was not 'embellishment' - it was lying)
Lucinda - wrong fit for the role.

and left Clare as the winner.

Also - why did the intro feel the need to lie aout the amount of cash Alex generated on the cars task? At the start of last nights show it stated that Alex had brought in £10k worth of business during the task but on the actual show regarding that task it was clearly stated that he brought in £8k.

My take on the finalists:

Helene: What is she STILL doing there. No personailty, has not showed anything during the tasks and quite a nasty piece of work at times.
Alex: Blagger without the blag! Super salesman my arse. He couldn't talk his way out of a paper bag. Not the charmer he is made out to be either and quite manipulative.
Claire: Ruth Badger but without the talent.
Lee: I want him to win as he seems most genuine, despite his CV lie. Likeable fella who will walk through brick walls for you.

Hope Lee wins!

I completely agree.

Alex - is a snake, I thouht he was terrible in the interviews and just looked pissed off, has no charm whatsoever as far as I can see.
Helene - throughout the series has done nothing and been an absolute cow.
Claire - not as great as everybody makes out, nowhere near as good as Ruth Badger but still prefer her to Alex and Helene.
Lee - I want Lee to win, he's down to earth and funny (although I didn't like the way he attacked Saira a few episodes back).

I don't actually think any of them are particularly outstanding, probably the reason why Alan can't decide.

Lee is a LIAR. Dress it up how you like, and point out all his good points as often as you want, he's still DISHONEST.

In fact he's not only DISHONEST, but he's STUPID and LAZY as well. What kind of MORON would produce a CV and not run a spell-check on the document? Schoolboy error.

I missed it last night, what did Lee (I assume you're all talking about Lee, not Alex) lie about?

Alex has been a crafty sod throughout this process: each time it's become obvious his team were going to lose a task, he started to distance himself from any decisions and pretend he had no input, in order to avoid being brought into the boardroom by the team leader.

Exactly what I think of him.

He may well be. But you said you liked Alex which is just as bad in my opinion. Neither is he a decent, honest person, for reasons pointed out after your post.

To be perfectly honest, I think they're all a bunch of backstabbers and the only one that had a bit of integrity was Raef.

Lee put on his CV that he had attended a University Course for 2 years. Sir Alan's man checked with the Uni, and they confirmed that he had pulled out after just 4 months.

When the guy asked him directly at the interview about his Uni experience he repeated the lie. the guy told him he had checked, and he said 'well if you say it was only 4 months, maybe it was a bit less than two years, I'm not sure'.

He's a LIAR.

I like Alex to win.

I think doing what he does on a commission based only job would suggest that he has got alot about him. Claire is also very good but i think Alex and Helene will win the task so Alex would win over her.

Karen Brady is f***ing lush though.

A dyslexic one perhaps. I don't watch the show regularly and have only seen parts of a two or three - has this come out before? May also explain Lee's difficulties with formal education in general.

Would anyone really want to work in or manage a team that contained Claire (=Disruption.com)?
