Always found it entertaining TV, in a 'don't take it very seriously' kind of way.

The change of role for Claude is a big call, and I think they may have got that wrong. I'd have brought in someone else. Part of the fun and build-up of expectation was to see the contestants get slaughtered and pulled apart by him in the interviews. You get away with that for a one-off, but I'm not sure anyone wants a whole series of that, every episode.

I suspect either people will get sick of him with the exposure, OR he'll be told to tone it down and won't be the same animal, neither of which is good.

Given this is the BBC just be thankful the role didn't go to Clare Balding.

She wasn't available. She's unveiling a post box in Whitstable.

They rarely seem to have larger people on the Apprentice - I swear they just pick the skinny girls - just an observation... Are they purely picked on business credentials and personality? I doubt it!

Brighton / Hove actually
There have been some worthy contestants who have gone on to good things over the years so they’re not all duds. Saying that, listening to the contestants in this series they do seem a bunch of Muppets.

Key information: Elle is the youngest of the group and says she’s a “geezer bird”. She’s taught herself fluent Latin and cites Taylor Swift as her business inspiration.

Top quote: “I’ve never been the person that comes second. I’d rather be the one who fell over at the start of the race and never made it to the finish line.”

"Richard, what a load of bollocks that was" in response to a load of corporate speak drivel on one of the CVs.

Yep, its back.
