The format failed when the prize changed (apprentice yes, cash cow no), and when Nick and Margaret left.

Claude was ok but Baroness Brady is a complete disaster and does my head in. Having had dealings with her once around the time of the 2012 Olympics and realised that her Canadian husband should have been entering the 'wonderfully tolerant in the face of pathetic treatment from a spouse' event at which he would have won gold, she is the archetypal after timer.
