Can we please play Wisbech Town. Last time we played them I was there and we won 10-1. Bugger, just checked and they aren't in it. But I'll take 10-1 against any that are.

was you also there for the 9 against Southend 2 weeks later?

I take binoculars to the Amex (not in west upper either). I want a new pair and can't find a shop in Brighton that is best. I want to try them out first.

Missed that on the grounds that lightning would not strike twice. And because we had to play QPR in between and the butchers round money would not stretch. After that I vowed to go to every home game possible. That lasted for 20 years.

I don't think I've ever been less bothered about an FA Cup draw that we're in. All that matters is the league - a view that I'm sure is shared by Chris and everyone else in charge of the the club.

FA Cup 3rd draw and BHAFC.

BBC 2 at 7pm tonight. However how do other NSC user,s view the FA cup and The Albion,s push for promotion ? Treat each game with respect, full strenght line-up and all the risks that go wth it or happy to lose in the 3rd round away to Barrow and free up the season ? I would not be to upset if we went out early whilst sides like Newcastle,Reading,Sheffield Wednesday got bogged down in a cup run with replays etc. :bigwave:

Sutton United , Barrow or Eastleigh / Halifax at home please, good chance to see some fringe first-teamers and progress through, although as we know there are 'no easy games'. Definitely less bothered about it this year than in previous as would love to be playing top teams week in week out next year.

Whoever we play we'll be fielding our reserves - so why bother wanting a 'big' game such as United or Palace? It'd just be a temptation to play our first team which we shouldn't.

Home game against a league one or lower end championship side, so we can play our Second XI (which will still be an impressive team) in a tough but winnable match. Agree I wouldn't want to see us tempted by a 'big team' fixture into playing our first team at this stage

I know a couple of Arsenal fans who spend stupid money to sit in silence for 90 minutes at The Emirates. Sterile, insipid, modern footballing experience by all accounts.

Palace or bust for me.

Been to the Emirates a few times, not that much different to the Amex if truth be told.

If we drew Newcastle, again! it would be funny as I'm sure both sides would be trying not to get through to the 4th round!

I think Newcastle will probably be up for the cup if their League Cup run is anything to go by. They actually rested players in the league before their game against Hull. Seems as though they very arrogantly think this the season to focus on cup runs as there's nothing to worry about in the league. Hope it comes back to bite them on their arse
