Disappointed that we won't be opening at least one of the upper stands for this.

I know it's an outdated view (and I am very old) but it's the FA ****ing cup, for christ sake!
It used to matter. Genuinely quite saddened by it tbh.

I'm really struggling with this one - on the one hand, I really fancy it and getting to see the fringe players is as much of the appeal as anything else.

Button
Schelotto Duffy Roberts Bernardo
Baluta Stephens
Jahanbakhsh Gross Gwargis
Murray

Would really interest me, but I have a lot of other things to do tomorrow. If it was sunday, I would be there no question.

Dam those 3[01)pm Saturday kick offs

Just looked. 350 left so 700 gone in last 24hrs. Pity this didnt happen week ago. Low key promotion of game by club and there policy doesnt help Not including transport. as is a pain buying PR/train and bus tickets before .People also put off by Villa experience.

Don't worry about it, all the fair weather fans will be out again as we progress through the rounds

The Villa cup experience really pissed me of. A chance to play fringe first team members and maybe one or two Under 23s, fine. But the team put out was a complete two fingers to the 15000 fans that turned up and I would imagine many will not make the same mistake on Saturday. Shame on BHA

A pain having to pay for public transport? Crikey you pay the driver when you get on he bus, and can pay for your train ticket at the station. It is only for one match after all. I definately don't think you can blame the club for that.

What's the latest on the likely attendance for this game?

I’d say around 15,500 home tickets sold so far, not including 190n1 members.

Maybe 2,000 away fans, so could get towards 18,000.

Don’t get all the ‘we must lose in this competition because it might have a detrimental effect on our campaign to stay in the Premier League.’

I would much rather win the FA Cup and get relegated.

I love the FA Cup and I’m more excited about tomorrow than most games this season, plus I’m sitting next to the away end, so that helps :albion2:

No doubt the naysayers turned up for the semi final, even though we were more worried about relegation then than this time last year.

I hope the reserves / youth team are put out tomorrow. PL survival must be our only priority and whilst we are playing some outstanding, glorious football, we are far from safe yet. We have enough first teamers out at present and I'm sure Potter wouldn't want to risk any others picking up injuries.

I just don't get this attitude. Lots of stats have shown teams that put out weakened teams still go on to lose their game. So gain nothing from this. We have a good enough sqaud to be able to put out 11 first team squad members. Could till be 11 changes, but it definitely doesn't need to be a massively weaker team.

Absolutely this!

Ideal opportunity to give the less played squad players their chance and show what they can do.

Thought Potter's ethos was "No Fear" we shouldn't be worrying about relegation.

I know others, including the club, will argue differently, but i do think this becomes self fulfilling. By not opening the top tiers at the outset you're effectively saying this game doesn't matter as much, don't bother. If they really cared, they'd open the whole stadium, charge next to nothing (they already are to be fair) and really push it.

I'm sure there are people not going because they can't sit in the upper tiers.

Are there significant staff and catering costs by opening ESU and WSU? With no guarantee of a hugely increased overall attendance, to pay for that cost.

As we have a 25 man squad I'd hope to see a number of the fringe players get a chance along with 2/3 of the U21's that we are hoping to loan out for the remainder of the season
