Hmmmmmmm.

Somewhere deep down inside Andrea Orlandi a good player can be found. Somewhere. In fairness to the lad, he's not short of technique. Good range of passing, good at set pieces. Not bad touch. He's got all the skills you'd need to be effective at your level. He's just so utterly, utterly ineffectual for most of the time.

Someone on our board nicknamed him "The Windsock", and that's not a bad description. He's never consistently been capable of imposing himself or really getting involved in games, usually just flapping around midfield as the flow of the game passes him by. And that's when he's fit. I wish I could tell you that we hadn't just sold you our second consecutive pup, but I have an unfortunate feeling that it'll turn out to be the case.

Sorry.

Been rated as a 6.7 by Sky Sports pundits across the season - between 7: Good - Impressive, eye-catching. and 6: Average - No major faults, nothing overly impressive.

Agree with that?

Nothing overly impressive could be his motto.

There are people who rate him much more highly than I do. I've just never been able to understand why.

Are those for Premiership performances? If they are, what do you expect for a player dropping to the Championship?
