Sidestepping the news of the past 24 hours, and concentrating on chatting about the Seagulls facing two sets of Robins in five days, national daily scribbler on all things football, yachting and that funny British Bulldog / rugby hybrid played by two teams of outsized pizza delivery boys, Nick Szczepanik returns to the studio alongside Ady and Al.

Tune in at midday this Saturday on 97.2FM in Brighton & Hove or at RadioReverb | Community Radio | Brighton,UK: Home

Failing that, have a listen sometime in the not-too-distant future on our website Albion Roar | Unofficial Brighton Hove Albion Football Club Radio Show on our podcast via iTunes.

The shirt of the week is disgusting.

I will also be appearing on the posh fans podcast http://standingontheglebe.co.uk/ tomorrow.

As in our show I think it will be appropiate not to comment on any of yesterdays events

To be fair I fully understand your reasons, but that's a bit like the board of Costa Cruises holding their weekly meeting and hoping to ignore the f***ing big shipwreck lying on the bottom of the sea.

I wouldn't say that, the board of Costa Cruises are directly involved, the moan in is independant and I would assume can't afford to defend themselves if they get sued. I like the moan in, so I'd like to see it not get shut down XD

Any idea on itunes timescale this time? I'm back at work on Sunday so I'm hoping it'll be on my player in time to listen to it on the way there.

You like it so much that you don't realise that the Moan-in is a completely different radio show hosted by different people on a different day.

Other than that, fair point.

Scotty Mac, how brave are you feeling? Moan In on sunday?... :lolol:

I think that shows like Standing on the Glebe and The Roar (which I've listened to for the last few weeks and think is a good listen) are the right places to discuss things like the goings on at the club this week. I'm not saying it should be the lead on either show, far from it, but ignoring it isn't a good solution either I don't think. Your call, obviously, but I would be having words to say about the Argus' coverage, atleast.

I should probably pay more attention when writing stuff. Point still stands if you put the name of the right podcast in though!

Well, it would have been if we'd known the ship was at the bottom of the sea.

At the time of recording, we didn't even know the players in question had been released on Police bail. To discuss it at the time with no information (aside from knowing that six players had been arrested), nor an idea as to how the Argus were going to present their story would have been unwise.

And this was with the sage counsel of a national newspaper journalist in the studio.

Apologies. I didn't appreciate that the show had been recorded. Given the context outlined above, the approach taken is 100% correct.

Roar on.

Quite apart from the legal and moral implications, there would have been absolutely no point in discussing, er, those things while recording a show on Thursday evening to go out on Saturday when we were reasonably sure that events would overtake us. As indeed they have.

I will probably now make a judgement call when we get to posh. However, it still stands we are still unaware of any of the facts of the incident and it's an ongoing police investigation.
