Are these the same parking spaces that have already been paid for? I assume cup games don't count though and were not up for sale in the first place?

Yes they are paid for. When the the permit was purchased pre season it was for the league games & 7 cup games.

We cant turn down that sort of money for 40 people if we want to be a progressive club. What we should have done though, is informed the affected supporters beforehand and offered alternatives.

I'm assuming that these trucks didn't just turn up unnannounced? (we'll leave that kind of thing to the group next Tuesday).
I dont blame the club for letting it happen (300k says it was the right thing to do) but I do question why those affected couldn't have been advised and alternatives put in place? This really isnt rocket science.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - we've gone from a club in a small stadium in league 1 to a club that is instantly 5 times bigger given the size of the ground PLUS the added exposure we now have. There are many people who work for the club that are still in the small time mentality and I think at this point next year we'll see that sadly some of them will have been replaced either with managers coming in above them or someone taking over their role. The seemingly regularly overwhelmed customer services (that covers all things disability as well as other bits and pieces) seems to be most in the spotlight at present since the club appointed the transport manager and eased many concerns in that direction.

Sorry, but you are so wrong here! We should never take extra revenue above addressing the needs of our disabled supporters. If they missed the kick off because of this, then that is disgraceful, as for offering an alternaive, then OK as long as the alternative does not put them at any further disadvantage.
