I've heard that an Albion player confirmed it was Clayton this afternoon at the Amex after a steward asked him!

I bloody hope he wasn't at the game though. He'll be on the first train up North otherwise!

Maybe he has had a medical, doesn't mean he's going to sign, Grabban had one for us.

What is interesting in that article is that they won't sign him unless he proves he 100% wants to play for boro. I would suggest he has already proved otherwise by failing to turn up for the first two medicals.

I understand the season has kicked off and players are leaving but i strongly believe that behind closed doors the club are working very hard on player recruitment. I'd expect to see movement this week, perhaps even today/tomorrow as the Buckley deal has now gone through and we have a larger cash pot to play with
