I think Trump will try and take that ‘night in Jail’ he has been threatened with by briefing his adoring cult later today. That should provide him with the distraction he needs for his fundamental Christian followers who might not want to hear about his (very) brief and Stormy encounter.

Only temporary pending various motions to be decided on procedural matters - likely to be tried in July/August/Sept. Cannon is a Trump appointed Judge so enabling Trump’s delaying tactics. It will be a big win, if Trump gets elected and these cases don’t come to trial until after the election as he will just pardon himself.
