Oh blimey.

Yes, he is indeed that. Although the video clip we were commenting was highlighting his incredible lack of intelligence, as opposed how nasty a person he is.

I shall try to use berk more often 🤔
I love to pop one in hoping nobody knows the meaning. Much more fun though is when someone uses it unexpectedly and it makes you wonder.

You should do. If nothing else - as you proved - you can get away with it without everyone thinking you are a complete, er, berk :lolol:

(Edit: or what @Motogull said!)

Showing my hand a little but Rory Stewart has been on this betting stuff and how it was influencing certain polls for weeks now.

His view on it is part of the reason for my belief, he spoke very convincingly about it a few weeks ago, and some of the things he predicted about how the betting and then the polls would shift as early voting started are coming to pass and were bang on the money.

Anyone offer any advice ?

Calling @Crawley Dingo can you translate the weave?

"“When I say insane asylums, and then I say, Doctor Hannibal Lecter, does anybody know? They go crazy. They say, oh, he brings up these names out of— Well, that's genius. Right. Doctor Hannibal Lecter. There's nobody worse than him. Silence of the Lambs. Who the hell else would even remember that? I have a great memory, but they always hit me. I don't bring it up too much because they have to take such a— he brought up Hannibal Lecter. What does that have to do with this? What is it? It has everything to do with it, right? He was… So I've done something for you for you that I haven't done in 20 speeches. I brought up Doctor Hannibal Lecter and we're allowing him, you watch, you watch these fake people will say again, he brought up Hannibal Lecter has absolutely nothing to do. You know I do the weave, right? The weave. It's genius. You bring up Hannibal Lecter, you mention insane asylum. Hannibal Lecter. You go out, no. There'll be a time in life where the weave won't finish properly at the bottom and then we can talk. But right now it's pure genius. Hey, I have an uncle, my uncle, Uncle John, my father's brother, 41 years at MIT, longest serving professor has so many degrees, he didn't know what the hell to do with them all in the most complicated. I understand a lot of this stuff, you know, I believe in that. Like, I mean, Jack Nicklaus is not gonna produce a bad golfer. Right. You know, that's the way it works. It's just one of those things and it's in the family and it's whatever”

When you see the transcripts of his rambling drivel, it genuinely beggars belief that this guy is 1 step away from the White House.

Quite apart from the utter made-up bollocks he endlessly spouts, it has also become increasingly noticeable that he can barely actually finish a sentence any more. He'll start saying something, then literally interrupt himself before his sentence is even fully formed, as he veers off on some other random tangent. He has some kind of neurological attention deficit disorder, he just blurts out whatever thought crosses through whatever lights up within that soggy suet pudding of a brain he's been left with.

The only "weave" he's got is that ridiculous flaccid mop of shredded wheat he still has clinging on to his increasingly exposed cranium.

Thank the Lord that Trump promises to, once again, surround himself with sycophants geniuses… it is telling how many appointees feel that he is fit to be president.

He has a point. Who remembers five time Oscar winning movies (including best picture, best actor and best actress in a leading role)?

And this started when Trump talked about the Doctor Hannibal Lecter, thinking he was a real person

If you haven't yet, but wanted to take the generous odds on Kamala winning, you're too late.

Come on America, don't flush your country down the toilet
Betting has shifted a little, but she’s still odds against in a 2-horse race.

It's shifted more than a little.

Trump was ahead against Biden, then against Kamala it's been nip and tuck either way until suddenly, for no apparent reason, Trump became a really strong favourite. There was nothing to point to that change - why had people not backed him when he was odds against, but then they decide to back him when he was a strong favourite? There hadn't been a debate or anything in his favour, there hadn't been a change in the polls, he just suddenly became a really strong favourite.

The most obvious answer is that people like Musk chucked a load of money on him, in order to influence people's voting decision. But now the odds are returning towards even as people take advantage of the generous odds available for Kamala.

When will Trump realise that asylum seekers haven't been released from insane asylums ? I think his impression of giving his mic stand a blow job has interested the prison community when he loses the election.

Jimmy Kimmel has, more than once, rolled out a chalkboard with an exact quote from Trump. I think when you see it written out and read back, it's hard to not notice that it makes no sense at all.
