Republicans in Georgia already getting their election fraud conspiracy messaging sorted:

Conversely, a cabal of the Country’s highest ranking Republicans that served under Reagan, Bush and Romney, National Security advisors, ex-officers and ex-leaders from all branches of the Department of Defence and the military have penned their endorsement for Harris which is quite condemning of Trump:

”… [A]ny potential concerns [about the left wing of the Democratic Party] pale in comparison to Donald Trump’s demonstrated chaotic and unethical behavior and disregard for our Republic’s time-tested principles of constitutional governance. His unpredictable nature is not the negotiating virtue he extols. To the contrary, in matters of national security, his demeanor invites equally erratic behavior from our adversaries, which irresponsibly threatens reckless and dangerous global consequences.

In short, Donald Trump cannot be trusted “to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic . . . and bear true faith and allegiance to the same.”

Strong language indeed and extraordinary to apply it to a Presidential candidate but I’m glad the corridors of the Washington elite see Trump for what he is: An uninformed bull in a china shop, who can’t see beyond his own naval and who will drag the Country down to his own debauched and chaotic level yet again if he were allowed back into the White House.

Sheriff of Portage County, Ohio suggests taking down the names and address of anybody with a Harris sign in their yard:

write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards! Sooo...when the Illegal human "Locust" (which she supports!) Need places to live...We'll already have the addresses of the their New families...who supported their arrival!

Apparently (according to the Republican secretary of state) he has a first amendment right to use his position, as Sheriff, to intimidate people in his county exercising their first amendment rights.

Scientific American makes presidential endorsement for only the second time in its 179-year history

“Vote for Kamala Harris to Support Science, Health and the Environment,” read the headline in Scientific American on Monday, announcing the publication’s official support for the Democratic presidential candidate.

“The US faces two futures,” the editors wrote, pushing one candidate who “offers the country better prospects, relying on science, solid evidence and the willingness to learn from experience.”

They continued: “In the other future, the new president endangers public health and safety and rejects evidence, preferring instead nonsensical conspiracy fantasies.”

Scientific American, which has a global readership of six million, cited Harris’s record as vice president, senator and presidential candidate as reasons for endorsing her.

I can recommend the C4 two-parter Trump's Heist; The President Who Wouldn't Lose

Many of Trump's campaign team and senior Republicans speaking out against his behaviour after losing the 2020 election. How he bullied and threatened many (including VP Mike Pence) and incited the attack on the Capitol. It's quite scary that so many fall for his bs. He is a bully and a total fraud.

The scariest thing I have ever seen on TV!

I didn't realise how much pressure Pence was put under prior to 6th Jan. The interesting thing about it was I don't think there was a single Democrat interviewed across the 2 programmes, all the criticism came from within his own party. He behaved really badly towards his own party officials!

Really dreading November, whatever the result.

Thats pretty horrific reading tbh. If true, this guy should be nowhere near a position of power...anywhere!
To be fair Robinson has denied it. Despite the fact the the user had a user name that it was confirmed belonged to him on other platforms... And the poster said they were in Greensboro, which happens to be where Robinson is from... And the poster seemingly had the same birthday as Robinson... And seemingly claimed to have gotten married the same year as Robinson...And the poster used several uncommon idioms that Robinson has also used multiple times ("frogs fat ass", "don't give two shakes" and "gag a maggot"!?!)... And the poster said he served in the Army the same time Robinson did... And the poster said their mother worked at a Historical Black College and University (HBCU), which Robinson's mother did...

But yeah...could be anybody.

...This is why I don't use "US Seagull" anywhere else.

Telling a room full of Jews that it will be their fault if he loses the election and ffs, saying ‘within 2 years, Israel will cease to exist if you don’t vote for me’

And this sums up where America is - an absolutely disgraceful treatment by Sen John Kennedy of the executive to the Arab-American Institute, a Muslim witness testifying about racism on college campuses.

Makes you realise the ingrained racism in the blue blood Republicanism in the US that Trump inherited

I too didn’t realise how much pressure was piled on Pence, the lynch mob followed.

I understand when people vote for a party there are things that accept you don’t agree with. But January 6 should have been a total red line but somehow for 10s of millions it isn’t.

The 5th avenue comment really has become reality

Crikey. I have missed a lot.

I see the assassination attempt has been revisited. My thoughts not declaration of facts from a standpoint of no medical or ballistic qualification are:
  • It was an attempt on his life.
  • It is a pity there is not footage from behind the bunglekunnt.
  • A bullet likely nicked the bunglekunnt's ear.
  • No bullet passed through, causing a hole in the bunglekunnt's ear - it would have been an unholy mess had a bullet struck and tore through cartilage tissue.
  • A direct hit would have seen a more dramatic reaction from the bunglekunnt.
  • I have an open mind about the possibility that the injury was caused by a ricochet or fragment.
  • I wonder whether the injury was caused or made worse in the ensuing bundle.
  • A nicked ear might need a stitch but not reconstructive surgery.
  • A mullered ear cartilage would likely need reconstructive surgery and take a wee while to settle.
In short, he dodged a bullet and suffered the mildest injury possible from being hit by one.

As to his inability to answer a question, he takes the normal politician's stance to wild new levels. His inability to finish a simple sentence before starting the next is quite concerning.

Trump is a turbocharged Johnson on steroids. Nowhere fit to hold office, any office really.

Harris is a breath of fresh air. Her winning seems more important than our recent change of government.

We’ve missed you!

Agree with everything you say - good summary.

Ps you missed the most recent ‘attempt’ to shoot him a few weeks ago by a pro-Ukranian nut job who’d been hiding in the bushes on the edge of a golf course for 2 days.

America eh?
