A few lunchtime games today which could feature a Brighton loanee -
Andrew Moran STARTS (Stoke away to Coventry);
Kamari Doyle STARTS (Crawley at home to Reading);
Luca Barrington BENCH (Grimsby away to Walsall);
Ben Jackson NOT IN SQUAD (Queen's Park away to Aberdeen) (Scottish Cup quarter final).
All KO at 12:30.
Doyle set up the last minute equalizer for Crawley - that’s six goal involvements in eight games, seven if you include the OG!

Apologies - forgot one! :facepalm:

Caylan Vickers STARTS for Mansfield Town away at Alex Revell's (remember him?) Stevenage.

Luca Barrington came on for the last 10 minutes of Grimsby's 3-1 win.

Mark O'Mahony on the bench for Portsmouth (versus Leeds).

Chelsea v. Leicester kicks off at 2:00 o'clock - will RVN realise that leaving Buonanotte out hasn't worked at all well?
Brest (Sima) also kicking off at 2:00 o'clock - Sturm Graz (Scherpen and Yalcouye)and Strasbourg (Barco) later.

I don't understand why it's better for Fergie's development to sit on the bench at West Ham rather than sitting on our bench.

Surely, it would have been better for him to get game time at the top end of the Championship, there'd have been clubs who'd have snapped him up
While not starting, he's getting a lot more game time than he would with us.

Really? How many minutes in the six weeks or so that he's been there? Not many!

Big financial risk. Not long ago (well, about a year, TBH) we were talking of him as our next £50-£100M player. If it's seen that we need him to drop to The Championship to get game time/up to speed his value would likely drop - and if he stayed on the bench a lot and didn't rip the league a new one he'd be potentially even less valuable.
Agree sitting on the bench isn't helping much either though.

That remains to get seen I guess.

Across the games this season for us when he wasn't injured (starting with Ipswich at home up to West Ham away and then back for Forest away), Evan averaged 23 minutes per game.

At West Ham - very early days - but he's done 70 minutes over three games - an average of 23 minutes per game!! Let's see how many minutes he gets today? (Update: He got 21 minutes)

Whatever, Wet Sham fans have well and truly turned on him now - probably would be better off on the bench rather than playing, the way it's going for him. :(

They're turning on Potter too - going in there and organising and tightening up the defence was exactly what he needed to do, and they appreciated that - but only for a few weeks - now they think they should be producing sparkling, entertaining football (with the same lack-lustre squad) and they're not doing it, so it's not acceptable.

It's the West Ham way after all (the grizzling, not the style of football).
