I once went to away game at Grimsby and it really didn’t do the name justice. One of my worst away days. The highlight was a punch up in the car park and I think we lost.

Perhaps the thinking is that we might have been a bit too ambitious with some of our non-goalkeeping placements last season? Four of them had to be moved in January because the loans weren't working out, and a fifth was simply recalled through lack of game time.

The Grimsby fishing industry was pretty much killed off when we joined the EU (or the EEC as it then was). Fish puns are the best part of 50 years out of date now, for Grimsby. Got any good mariner puns?
