Barco makes his debut for Sevilla - plays the full 90, but Sevilla lose 2-0 at home to Girona.
Solid debut.

34/41 passes completed
4 key passes
3 shots
10/17 ground duels won
6 tackles
1 interception
1 clearance
1/6 dribbles completed
Was fouled - 3 times
Dribbled past - 2 times

Didn't have much luck with taking on a man, but competed well physically.

Tom McGill in action for MK Dons tonight live on Sky Sports 403
Former Seagull Joe Tomlinson also in the side. Former scholar Tyrese Fornah playing for Salford.

Seems a bit bizarre that Canada selects Tom for their national squad when he hasn't played a senior game for years, and as soon as he starts playing they don't call him up!

Isn't it often the case that a player gets better and better the longer he is not playing!?

I like what I'm seeing. Seems to be commanding and confident, great feet. We're in safe hands if a comet wipes out seven of the other keepers.

Looks like Odel Offiah will have to learn a completely different way to play football than he's been trained to play in his time at Brighton. No more 'fannying around at the back' for him now! Steve Bruce is his new manager!
Still, he's a big lad - hopefully will do alright!

In last night's game (they were at home to the Wolves U-21s in the BSM Trophy) he was replaced at half-time by...Lorent Tolaj (who scored Vale's opening goal).

Wolves' second goal was scored by former Albion academy player Fletcher Holman.
Just like Pelé.

Tom McGill taking pelters from Roy Keane

Just 100% right. The lack of urgency from goalkeepers is ridiculous at times and it's no surprise that a training goalkeeper would be very casual on the ball, it's never mattered before. Now he's out playing first team football, he should realise it's a real game of football.

Not one of ours any longer, but our former scary skinhead Leo Skiri Ostigard played in the centre of Norway's defence against Kazakhstan. Clean sheet - and judging by the match stats, probably didn't need to break sweat!
