Wolves 10th? A few fancy dans does not a team make.

Plenty of predictions are having Wolves as doing alright. Depends how many more Portuguese internationals Mendes can round up.

Oh, and ESPN predicting Newcastle to finish 7th

This is Benitez after their 4-0 friendly defeat to Braga last night.

“We have to realise we can’t make these mistakes. Things are not going well off the pitch and you can see a reflection of that on the pitch.”

When asked if he was referring to recruitment he said: “Everything.”

And when asked if there were incoming deals on the way he said: “I have no idea.”

:lolol: The fans up here are shitting it about their lack of transfer activity, possibly worth a punt for relegation, especially if Rafa flounces.

Albion at 18th isn't that bonkers though is it ?

It’s certainly not impossible. But even the most cursory look at the summer business so far offers little to suggest that Newcastle will finish above us. And I’d certainly have doubts about Watford, Fulham, Bournemouth, Southampton and Palace.
