There's so much talk about how much the Prem is worth so why is it that so many teams who have made the promised land have almost gone bust afterwards?

We would not be bricking it as much as the West Ham fans. The pressure on them would be immense, if they don't go back up they could be in real serious shit. For us it would mean the world and for the record I think we will be there and I think we will win, it's written in the stars. But it's a massive bonus and should be seen as such. Take the pressure off and see us win it.

Most financially valuable game in the entire world isn't it? I'm sure I've heard that, but I might have imagined it. I agree though it would be hard to relax and the nerves would be incredible... wouldn't miss it for the world though!

Is it a £100 million pound game for the club or to line the players pockets?

If we where to be promoted my hope is that the club don't over spend to stay in the Premiership. I would rather do a West Brom and be yo-yo for a couple of years but slowly build for the future.

While I'm really excited about the next few games I really can't get carried away as I never expected to be in the position that we are. Now if we are in a Play-Off spot after the Barnsley game that will be a different matter and if we got to Wembley I'd be as happy as a pig in shit and if we won at Wembley I'd be doing cartwheels all the way down Wembley Way (well I haven't done one for 40 years).

The good thing is, that we weren't expected to be in this position in our first season back in the Championship, so the pressure really isn't on us at all. If we make the play offs, it'll be a massively successful season for us. If we fall just short, then it'll still be considered a very good season for Gus and the team.
West Sham however,ARE expected to return to the top flight - and fast. Anything less than play off success will be a failure for the bubble blowers.

I think the teams that have gone bust shortly afterwards are the ones who didn't have a solid financial plan. I trust Tony and Gus to do things properly should we get promoted.

As far as I'm concerned it's another football match that I'll want us to win (if indeed we were to get there). Quite honestly, I'd be a lot happier if we were to go up via automatic promotion - as I feel we would be in altogether better shape to avoid coming straight back down again. That said, in football (as in life) often things don't happen in a particularly predictable fashion, so I certainly wouldn't be complaining if we were to sneak up into the Premiershite at the end of this rather remarkable season. At the end of the day, football really is a funny old game innit.

I'll enjoy it, if it happens, no problem. It's not my money, I shall never see a penny of it, other than when my DD goes out each month. Its Wembley, its a chance to be a premier league tem supporter, what's not to enjoy?

I'm sure I've heard the same thing about it being the most valuable game in the world. For me, the big games are both pleasure and pain. It's very rare for me to really enjoy a game unless we're winning comfortably. One of the few big games I really enjoyed was the play off final vs Bristol City at the millennium stadium. And the one and only time I've cried at a football match. But I fear that IF we made the final this year it would all be too much for me.
