Definitely a red, that it wasn't given is typical bias in favour of the bigger team.

The weekend that Gilmour got his red, there was a lengthy debate about the Harry Maguire challenge that only received a yellow (leaving aside the usual top 6 bias) the consensus was that Maguire only deserved a yellow due to the fact that the impact was lower than Gilmour's.

Therefore for consistency Moder deserves no more than the yellow that was given.

At the ground, I was fully expecting the ref to be sent to the TV screen to review his decision once it went to VAR.
This!

It was ar red though
So was maguire"s
As was the challenge on Buanonotye at Luton.
Some time you get a yellow sometimes qit's red.

We got away with one today
And frankly, it's about time we did.

The arse end of Hangleton
I called it as red all the way from north WSU even with my old dodgy eyes. Seeing the replay makes me even more sure.

I am sure that the 'panel' will be reading this thread and the yellow will be upgraded to a red during the week.

Well done, lads

Fortunately Moder caught him low ankle. A few inches higher and it would of been red. Forest will have plenty to say about it I'm sure!
I think this is what Dermot will say tomorrow i'm guessing he will say He's lucky as if it was any higher it would have been a red.

I've voted having not seen it on telly, but at the game it looked like he left the ground and was out of control, very lucky

I seem to recall Palinha launching two footed at Lamptey laat season, grazing the ball and clattering through the player.

He got a yellow, far more risk to the opponent than Kuba's or WBG's challenges.

Fulham fans were up in arms for the yellow.

It"s not a precise science.

Excessive force or dangerous play? Take your pick.

Straight red. No complaints.

It's a red isn't it. Two feet off the ground, no way he's in control, could've caused a bad injury.

I'd say it was more six to nine inches.

Anyway, we were watching the replays from over the shoulders of the TV commentators at the time and we and everyone else around us were sitting uncomfortably in our seats, waiting for the ref to be sent to the VAR screen to review it. I cannot believe it wasn't even referred. Red card all day long for me.

However. I remember Ryan Yates and that other carthorse...Worrall maybe?...each committed about fifteen fouls in the home game against Forest last season while remaining on the pitch, and shithoused their way to one of the most annoying, undeserved draws I can remember. So basically, I don't feel sorry for them in the slightest.

At the game I thought yellow and the Forest player was play acting. However, having now seen it close up on TV - RED

BTW Moder had a good game - which was nice.

Watching it back now - I didn't notice the attempt to stop Moder even getting there by Gibbs-White before.

I havnt seen any replays of what happened before Moder flew in so can’t really comment with confidence. Maybe a free kick to us, yellow for them and a red for us?
Is that how it works? I honestly don't know. But there is a difference between a foul where you're trying to get the ball, and one where you have no intention of getting the ball.
