Never a red. We may as well pack up and give up if we start dishing out reds for that. Tackling is part of the game.
Tackling is part of the game….but there are laws regarding what you can’t do.

Moder - we got away with that didn’t we?
If Moder hadn't been fouled, then maybe his foul should have been a red.

But surely the correct decision would have been free-kick to us and yellow card for them to the foul on Moder before he then goes flying in?

Definitely a red. Moder is sliding in with foot off the ground and connects. Would love to know what argument VAR gives for it being yellow.

If it had been given as a red I don't think VAR would have overturned it.
Pretty much that - whatever the ref gave wouldn’t have been overturned. Personally I thought he was reckless and out of control and catches the ankle. Only thing I think has saved him from VAR overturning it was contact wasn’t higher up his leg

100% a red. Thought that from North stand and convinced even more after seeing the replay.

WBGs want. Moder’s should have been. Purely for the fact he took two feet off the floor and made contact studs up. It was out of control. Definitely dodged a bullet just hope no retrospective action is taken but assume as VAR cleared it there shouldn’t be.

I havnt seen any replays of what happened before Moder flew in so can’t really comment with confidence. Maybe a free kick to us, yellow for them and a red for us?
