I'm not a shouty fan like many of the post-whores on here, but as a lifelong albion fan, that result was dripping in fate. And not a good one.

I can't help but thinking that realistically, that's it. We're off down.

I'm no stats man, but am I right in thinking that the Albion has spent more seasons in the last ten years changing divisions than they have staying put?

We are effectively relegated with 5 games to go and it is down to some of the worst mismanagement I have seen in more than 40 years.
For Christ's Sake, this was a side that finished 7th and got 69 points and had to be looking at the higher reaches of the table again.
We have ended the season as one of the 3 worst teams in the division ( how pathetic is that )
We have gone from a side that has spent 3 of the last 6 seasons in the Championship and now find ourselves in the basement, with a squad that has now probably got to be dismantled. We may still be there when Falmer opens.
You only end clubs sliding ( and believe me, we are sliding ! ) by changing players or management.
I am angry at how a decent bunch of players has been reduced to a rabble, lacking all confidence and direction.
So many mistakes have been made this season, there is no guarantee that there won't be similar next. After all, apart from Slade ( whose record is poor ) replacing Adams, nothing else has changed.
The board will lay low knowing they have cocked up big-time but they will now be hit where it hurts most....in the pocket.
The struggle is only just beginning.
