I think we can afford to spend some decent money if the right player is available unfortunately we couldn’t get the deals over the line last summer. The Brighton fans goto list when ever big money is mentioned is flawed if you don’t list players that have worked for similar amounts.

No we don’t, we need, as today the goals to be spread around, we can’t afford to buy or pay the wages of a “quality goal scorer”, so have to look at other ways of playing.

Agreed. It’s generally someone we’ve not heard of. The club have the scouting network, we know little. Plus all the names cited by the media are necessarily on the radar of every other club in Europe with a similar or greater budget.
