After about 1 minute set the tone for the first half. What were they playing at? Something we presumably have been practising this week.

Even Teddy Maybank, in his state today would have done better

Worse it was only after 1 minute.

I was saying it was about the same place as where Cardiff scored their second - put it on the spot and Duffy will knock it in. Then Pascal played his master move, but only told Bernardo what it was.

It was set up for Gross. On his right foot, scoreable distance and early in the game to create some pressure. That absolute car crash routine sapped the life out of the players, fans and set the tone for the rest of the half. Gross and izqueirdo are shadows of last years players.

Given that we hadn't scored for a few hours or had shots on target in a few games - you'd think a well placed free kick after 2 mins would be the opportunity we've been looking for (& practicing). Sadly not - & that was the best chance of the half..

Maybank looked rather the worse for wear didn't he

It would be nice if the club can get the players to do it again - correctly - during the week and post it on youtube so we can see what it was supposed look like.

I bet they can't though - whatever it was they were up to looked completely incomprehensible.

Gross burying it into row Z would have been better

Summed up the players at the moment. No one had the confidence to take it on. Can't think of any other premier league club that would not have had a pop at goal from that position.

It looks like Izquierdo just buggered up the run back. He was going to touch it back to Stephens who was going do what Dale Stephens does once per decade. A goal from outside the box!
