They got the banner out on 88 minutes after they scored with 7-8 mins to play - not a great way to show your support for the team when they needed it the most.

I'm back in the Hyypia in camp. The more I think about it I really don't see this situation as his fault. Yes he is not the perfect manager but he is learning. He was never going to be the finished product when he joined but unlike other managers he was given a bad start by selling good players and getting crocks of shit in.

I think Bloom's refusal to sack him shows that he also sees there were problems beyond his control.

You probably don't know anyone who is truly caked up, most of us don't. Mar Bloom will be used to dealing with crises, regarding wealth protection.......everybody wants to be the rich man's mate. Just look at the way GP was eased out, without a bean compo.
My take is that it's being 'sorted', regardless of how it appears outdoors.
This is a shrewd cookie, Seagulls will stay up, and he'll be all the flyer for it. Give it time.

Please go back and actually read my comment! I in no way compared the current situation with the archer era. What I do is point out that for a group of fans so able to respond vocally in the past that our unquestioning compliance surprises me.

Misrepresenting others comments to support your own argument belittles your own opinion and gives it less credibility

Put it into perspective
The Archer era was all about selling our home and lining their pockets with the proceeds. They didnt give a toss about Brighton & Hove Albion.
The current owners have put in about £200 million, to give us a fantastic stadium and a state of the art training ground, but have employed a muppet as manager who needs to go, and I am fully behind that.
But to say "Is this the same club where fans refused to take the lies and sit back in the archer era? Where we expected answers and fought to save our club? It would appear not." is stretching ita bit far IMHO.
But you carry on, I look forward to you starting a thread to organise a march to protest about the current situation.

I think it's safe to say that nobody is happy with that win statistic. I think the issue maybe is that possibly it is more required than replacing a manager mid-season who will have the same under performing squad (chicken/egg) and that holding a soiled bedsheet is not always the most constructive route. Much derided today I thought from where I was.

Of course I'm not happy. You'd have to be a total idiot to be happy but I'm not going to completely over react and claim that we've had the last 17 years thrown away.
