Saw the ST tweets on the day of that Burton game.
They offered a full refund, were quite clear that they would pay for train travel or petrol for anybody who decided to make their own way up (even when one guy said the train fare would cost him in the region of £100, and also offered a free trip to a forthcoming game. The person doing the tweets was incredibly apologetic and responded to everyone who asked him/her a question.
All businesses have moments when things go wrong. It's how you respond to that which marks you out as a good quality business or not. Southern Rail, as we all know, offer a great big **** you to everyone when their services fail (repeatedly). Seagulls Travel appear to have worked very hard on this occasion to put things right.
