I don't think we can over egg the importance of his brief tenure, he's instilled pride, passion and belief and could well have been the catalyst for a fun 2nd half of the season, not bad considering he was 1-0 down within his first minute as boss.
Rendition of Nathan Jones' Blue and White Army on Saturday? I'm sure CH will understand.

Nafan done well but Hewton is the future, with or without Nafan.

Just great to see passion from the manager after the 2 previous emotionless individuals. As someone else has already remarked Nathans short spell at the helm may just have changed the course of our season. TB, well done on ensuring he remains with us, anything else would have been totally inappropriate. After the last week NJ has my full respect going forward and I too hope he steps up to be our No 1 in the future.

'Rendition of Nathan Jones' Blue and White Army on Saturday?' (DarrenFreemansPerm) - spot on

i wonder if Nathan would have been the players choice of manager until at least seasons end. They seemed to have found their inner strength from his pep talks from half time against Reading.

In 135 playing minutes he gave us back our pride; in the few short days since Hyypia left he spoke with a passion for the club and its supporters that shamed the dead-eyed suits above him.

Agreed. Thanks, Nathan. Please stick around.

It's all you mongloid's creaming over the Welsh tit like he's some sort of albion legend:facepalm:

Nice word, been a while since mongloid has been used.

Your hate of Nathan Jones is clouding your judgement, shame really, but not my problem. Keep abusing people if it makes you feel better

Neither here nor there
I could never understand the vitriol that Jones got all the time he was assistant, much of it puerile and nonsensical; some of it based on the certainty that he was terrible at his job.

I often wondered how so many posters could have an inside track on his day-to-day responsibilities and how he executed those tasks. In the short time when we've been able to make some sort of judgement about Nathan's actual abilities, he seems to have been rather impressive at what he does.

So well done, keep the passion going, and let's hope some of the idiots who took every opportunity to rubbish you are back in their box.

I'm happy to eat humble pie over Nathan and accept he has earned a place in our first team management setup. Not ready for permanent manager yet. Thank you for the last 1 and a half games Nathan.

The dull part of the south coast
Not wishing to sound pessimistic, but should Chris Hughton fail (and I hope not), Nathan Jones might not be such a bad choice as replacement. He has certainly shown, all be it for two games, the passion, desire and tactical nous to get a totally demotivated bunch into a hungry, winning team.

You really are a pathetic person, aren't you? Why come on this thread if you're just going to make comments like that.

So, what exactly is wrong with a thread thanking one of our coaching team for taking the club from 4 points from safety to out of the relegation zone in only a week? Seems a pretty decent thing to do.

Will do :)
If Jones thinks he's good the should start by managing in the lower leagues and move on.

This will be the reason he will be marginalised and moved on by CH.....if CH has a bad start it will not take long for this to happen..
